Connectivity & Infrastructure

From the socket in the wall to the fibre in the ground.

New office fit-out? Site that broadband forgot? CCTV that needs doing properly? Physical infrastructure and connectivity are where IT becomes physical — and it's work we've been doing for 25 years.

Connectivity

As an authorised Zen Internet dealer, we supply and provision the full range of business connectivity:

  • Full-fibre broadband (FTTP) and FTTC for everyday business use
  • Ethernet leased lines — dedicated, uncontended bandwidth with proper SLAs, for businesses where the internet going down means the business going down
  • Wireless links — point-to-point connections for joining buildings or reaching awkward locations without digging trenches
  • Starlink — genuinely fast connectivity for rural and hard-to-reach sites where the fibre map runs out

We're based in Dumfries and Galloway; we know exactly what “the fibre map runs out” looks like. Rural connectivity isn't an edge case for us — it's home turf.

Infrastructure

We design and install the physical layer your network runs on: structured cabling, switches, wireless access points, comms cabinets, and full fit-outs for new premises or office moves. We manage what we install, so the network you get on day one is still performing years later.

CCTV & site security

A modern CCTV camera is a computer on your network — which is exactly why it should be installed by people who look after networks for a living. We design, supply, and install IP CCTV as part of our infrastructure work, from a single entrance camera to full site coverage.

  • Designed for your site — coverage planned around entrances, yards, and blind spots, not just wherever the drill reaches
  • Viewable anywhere — live and recorded footage on your phone, tablet, or desktop
  • Configured securely — default passwords changed, firmware maintained, and cameras segmented from your main network, so your security system never becomes your security hole
  • Maintained like the rest of your IT — because for our clients, it is the rest of their IT

Poorly installed cameras are one of the most common ways attackers get a foothold in small business networks — the internet is full of forgotten devices still running factory settings. Ours aren't among them; it's the same discipline we apply across our cybersecurity work.
